A good teaching interface should preserve orientation. The learner should be able to see where a lesson is going, understand which ideas depend on which others, inspect a diagram at a useful scale, and recover from a failed model turn without reconstructing the question. Keating 2.6 treats those as parts of the same problem: keeping the path through a subject legible.
Provider-owned access
Keating's hosted-model option now uses Not Organic instead of the legacy Dio and Bifrost implementation. Identity, wallet balance, checkout, usage records, and DPoP capabilities remain account-scoped and provider-owned. The browser no longer receives or recovers a virtual provider key; Keating's same-origin routes exchange the active product session for narrowly scoped model access on the server.
Pricing and settings now describe that relationship directly. Credit packs top up one shared wallet, another device can resume through the same Not Organic identity, and bringing an independent provider key remains available for learners who prefer it.
Nested learning paths
Study plans are no longer flat checklists. A plan can contain several substantial coverage areas, each with nested concepts or activities, expected outcomes, time estimates, and resumable progress. Stable identifiers connect prerequisites across the hierarchy, and Keating derives the dependency graph from those relationships rather than asking the model to describe the same structure twice.
The OpenUI operating prompt now includes canonical interactive-question and detailed-plan programs that are validated against the live component grammar. This gives the model a concrete example of when to ask through the structured interface and what a useful multi-area lesson plan looks like.
Expandable diagrams
Every shared Mermaid surface can now expand into a full-viewport inspector. Wide maps remain scrollable at their natural scale instead of shrinking into illegibility. The inspector closes by button, backdrop, or Escape and returns keyboard focus to the control that opened it. Nested study-plan dependencies use this same renderer, so the graph can begin as a compact disclosure and grow when the learner needs to trace it.
Retry without rewriting
Keating already knew how to remove a trailing failed response and replay the preceding prompt, but the action was easy to miss. Failed turns now end with an accessible recovery alert and a primaryRetry prompt action. The recovery reuses the original learner turn and existing session state; it does not ask the learner to copy, edit, or remember what was lost.

The release was checked through the full web test suite, TypeScript validation, Vite and Nitro production builds, Storybook's static build, generated NodePod prompt snapshots, and rendered browser passes for retry recovery, nested plans, dependency disclosure, diagram expansion, Escape dismissal, and focus restoration.
